Concep, a leading digital consulting firm in the professional services space, wanted to capture their loyal clients on film. We were happy to create Bite-Size Stories to help them do just that.

John Buchanan. I'm with Howard Rice. I'm in San Francisco, and I'm the Chief Marketing Officer. Probably the most major marketing challenge for us is really kind of regrouping after a really tough year. A tough year of budget cuts. A tough year of the firm being a little bit slow.

We use Concep pretty regularly. We generally have done between 40 and 50 client alerts per year. Those are both heavy content and some just reminder client alerts. But those have proven to be great ways to touch our clients so that they know we are thinking about them, and we are sending them information that is useful to them.

Once the client alert goes out we get all of this information back about who has read it, how many times, who opened it, and who didn't. We can say the reason it was opened and read by so many people is your headline was good or the content was good. It gives us a way to go back to them in a very data driven environment to explain to them.

We're a relatively small firm, but we've done a lot of work from the beginning with Concep. It has been a good relationship. They are very helpful. They are open to new ideas, open to working with us. It has been a great experience. I mean, having a vendor like that is exactly what you want.

Recently, we were working on a project. All of my people had gone home, and I needed to find out some information, some demographics about a particular client alert that we had sent out. I had no idea how to do it. I got on the phone. I called somebody. It was late in New York. I'm in San Francisco. I got somebody on the phone. They walked me through it. I was able to understand it, get it. It kind of saved me. So, having that access to them was really helpful.

For us, I think one of the most important vehicles we have to communicate with clients is through the content that we deliver to them and the thought leadership we are trying to develop. I think it has probably been the most important thing for us. It has helped us really develop a much better and a much more robust client communication process.
