Jason has over 12 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur, Fortune 1000 strategy consultant and business leader. His unique skills bridge the gap that often exists between pure entrepreneurs and corporate management. Most recently, Jason served as the CEO of SageSecure LLC, a market leading e-risk management company. Jason built SageSecure LLC into a multi-million dollar business, attracting premier clients in media, natural resources, and financial services industries. In addition, he raised millions of dollars in venture capital and private equity needed to fuel the company's growth. While at SageSecure, Jason also managed the development cycle of their flagship product, a major web based software application in use by several Fortune 2000 companies today.
Prior to SageSecure, Jason was the founder and President of Jumar Technologies, a business-to-business software company based in New York City. He led Jumar Technologies from inception to millions of dollars in revenue, providing vision and management for a 45-person workforce. After raising early stage capital, he positioned the company for sale to Sybase Incorporated. Jumar Technologies was a spin-off of JP Consulting Group, a marketing software consulting company. At JP Consulting Jason created technology & marketing strategies for Fortune 1000 and middle market organizations while managing a large team of highly skilled consultants.
Throughout his career building businesses, Jason has accumulated extensive experience as a consultant to some of the world’s top companies including Rio Tinto, Argyle Diamonds, Travelers Insurance, ING, Amex, Morgan Stanley, and Scholastic. Working with their division leaders and CXOs, he has created business strategies and solutions that maximize the value of information assets resulting in increased efficiency and measurable corporate growth.
Jason is the co- author of "Network Security Illustrated" (McGraw-Hill) an executives’ guide to managing informational risk. He frequently lectures at corporate and industry conferences, has published multiple academic papers on information economics and holds a patent on an integrated communications technology he co-designed. He serves as Treasurer and Vice Chairperson of the board directors of Replications.org, a Manhattan based non-profit that creates and funds public schools in low-income neighborhoods. Jason holds a B.A. in Economics from Union College.
