Case Study: Muzeview

BackgroundMuzeview provides competitive and marketing intelligence to professional services firms across the United States and the world. Paul Gladen, the founder of the company, was a former partner with Arthur Andersen and was responsible for setting up a center for global research and innovation within Arthur Andersen. Muzeview is a niche player that leverages technology, inside knowledge of the professional services space and an analytical approach to provide relevant and timely intelligence to their clients.ChallengeMuzeview’s challenge was to clearly convey what their intelligence can do for clients and to connect Paul with professional marketers and practice leaders across a wide geographic area. Our goal in creating Muzeview’s video was to humanize a highly analytical and data driven business and also to clearly show Paul’s intelligence and credentials in relation to his work product.SolutionWe met this challenge by helping Paul craft sound-bites about his company in an eloquent and clear way, while also visually showing how his data and analysis looks when converted into pictures. Data scares many people because it is frequently difficult to interpret. We wanted to show the power of Muzeview’s deliverables by incorporating them into the video. 

Additionally, a unique aspect about Muzeview is where they are located. Missoula, Montana, home to the University of Montana, is an ideal location that allows Paul to tap into a skilled workforce without the overhead expenses associated with operating in a major metropolitan location. We also wanted to allow viewers to connect with Paul through his interests and past cultural experiences. This was successfully done by using stock photos of and voiceovers about places Paul has lived in and some of his current hobbies. 

Finally, on the video SEO front, we worked with Paul to thoughtfully construct metadata to ensure that his video would be easily found on his site and on the web by anyone in accounting, law and consulting firms looking for marketing and competitive intelligence. 

Muzeview was delighted with the finished product and we believe it demonstrates the power of video to clearly communicate niche ideas and expertise - a key challenge for many professional services firms.
